How To Create An Event

Modified on Wed, 22 Nov, 2023 at 12:28 AM

Events are a fantastic way to foster community engagement, and our 'Events' tool in the dashboard is designed to ensure your events reach the right audience. In this guide, we'll walk you through the straightforward process of creating an event to engage and energize your community.

Creating an Event:

  • Access Event Creation: Go to Godview > Circles > Events > + Create Event.

  • Property Selection: Tag the property where the event is taking place. You also have the option to extend the event's visibility to other properties by tagging them in the 'Other Property Visibility' section.

  • Provide Event Details: Add essential event details, including the 'Title,' 'Description,' 'Start Date,' 'Start Time,' 'End Time,' and 'Booking Capacity.' This ensures clear communication of event specifics.

  • Define Event Type and Location: Specify whether the event is online or offline. If offline, provide location details, which can also be selected from the map. This helps attendees easily find the event's physical location.

  • Paid Event Option: If your event is a paid one, simply click on the checkbox and define the event's price. This feature streamlines the process of managing paid events.

  • Add Event Visuals: Enhance your event's appeal by adding relevant images or documents to make it visually engaging.

  • Save Your Event: Click 'Submit' to save your event and make it visible to the community.

To explore our community features further and maximize engagement, we recommend going through our "Create Posts" article.
